Amfa Finans is a Swedish company within the financial services segment. Their main business is factoring, but they also offer a savings account with high interest rate among other services. Turnover 2007 was about 55 MSEK.
Needs & Benefits
Amfa Finans offer a number of services through their web portal, e.g. the option for their customers to electronically transfer their invoices to Amfa’s online system. Amfa early realized the value of securing the customer information and saw the need for a secure authentication mechanism. To authenticate to the web portal the customers can now either use their Swedish e-ID or request a certificate issued by Amfa Finans. Nexus MultiID Server is used to validate the e-IDs. The certificates issued by Amfa are created and distributed using Nexus Certificate Manager. Nexus Personal is distributed to the client together with the certificate to use during authentication.
Initially about 1500 customers will use the solution, but this number is bound to increase.
